123:1-37-06 Bilingual pay supplement.

Those positions eligible for the bilingual pay supplement shall require as essential to the fulfillment of the duties, the ability to speak and/or write a language in addition to English, and this shall be reflected on the position description approved by the department of administrative services. The bilingual pay supplement shall equal five percent for each foreign language required for the position. Those positions which require the knowledge and use of braille or hand sign language shall qualify for payment of the bilingual supplement.
