123:1-41-14 Layoff jurisdictions for county appointing authorities.

(A) General. Each county appointing authority is a layoff jurisdiction. Layoff, displacement, and reinstatement rights and procedures shall apply only within each county appointing authority affected by the layoff. The order of layoff as provided in rule 123:1-41-07 of the Administrative Code applies within each of the layoff jurisdictions.

(B) County layoff jurisdictions. Layoff jurisdictions for layoff, displacement, and reinstatement of employees of county appointing authorities shall be the employee’s appointing authority. The order of layoff and reinstatement shall be followed within each county appointing authority.
