1501:31-11-07 Restricted goose hunting area; Lucas and Ottawa counties.

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, hunt, or take Canada geese or its subspecies, blue, snow, or white-fronted geese at any time without a permit from the division of wildlife on or within an area in Lucas and Ottawa counties posted with signs reading “Restricted Zone, Unlawful to Hunt Geese.” Said area more particularly described as follows:

Located in Jerusalem township, Lucas county and Benton and Carroll townships, Ottawa county, beginning at the north side of the junction of Ohio state route 2 and route 590 in Benton township, Ottawa county, thence eastwardly along the north side of Ohio state route 2 to the west bank of Turtle creek in Carroll township, Ottawa county, thence north along the west bank of Turtle creek to the confluence with lake Erie, thence proceeding northwesterly along the south shore of lake Erie, thence westerly along the boundaries of the Ottawa national wildlife refuge back to the point of beginning.

(B) All definitions set forth in rule 1501:31-1-02 of the Administrative Code shall apply to this rule.
