1501:7-1-01 Public notice of hearing.

Public notice of hearing for the purpose of promulgating rules to be conducted by the chief engineer of the office of chief engineer shall be advertised in three newspapers of general circulation in the state at least thirty days, but not more than fifty days, prior to the hearing. The notice shall state the chief engineer’s intention to consider adopting, amending or rescinding a rule, shall include a synopsis of the proposed rule, amendment or rule to be rescinded, or a general statement of the subject matter to which such rule relates, and the date, time and place of a hearing on said proposed action. The notice shall also state the place from which copies of the proposed rule, amendment or rule to be rescinded may be obtained.
