Rule 1501:47-7-12 | Stark county park district.

 

On the waters under the management authority of the Stark county park district, it is unlawful for any person to operate or permit the operation of a class of vessel not specifically permitted as follows:

(A) A vessel propelled by a motor, or combination of motors, with a total horsepower rating of not more than ten horsepower may be operated on the waters or within Walborn reservoir or Sippo lake.

(B) No motorized vessel, other than a vessel propelled by electric motor is permitted on the waters of Deer creek reservoir.

(C) Only non-motorized vessels are permitted on the waters or within Petros lake or the Ohio and Erie canal within Stark county.

Vessels equipped with higher horsepower motors may be present on the waters specified in paragraphs (A) and (B) of this rule provided they comply with paragraphs (A) and (B) of this rule.
