311-1-06.2 Bike patrol shorts: Specifications.

(A) Style: The shorts may be slip-on or conventional waistband style with an inset zipper fly. The shorts shall have two front pockets of either quarter opening or bellows style, and a back pocket with a flap. The shorts shall be unlined.

(B) Fabric:

(1) Supplex nylon or an equivalent performance fabric, or

(2) Polyester/cotton twill.

(C) Color: Black.

(D) Sources: Supplex nylon/performance fabric shorts may be Fechheimer A230BK or an equivalent design; polyester/cotton shorts may be Blauer #8840 or an equivalent design.
