(A) Policy statement and purpose

Bowling Green state university, together with the Bowling Green state university foundation, Inc., solicits and receives gifts to support the universitys faculty and students in the academic, research, and service missions. This policy outlines information relating to fundraising and advancement activities at Bowling Green state university.

(B) Policy

Funds cannot be transferred to a university foundation account from any university budget. The university foundation is a tax-exempt charitable foundation established in 1956 for the benefit of the university.

University funds also cannot be used for charitable and scholarship donations.
