3354:2-47-01 Grading policies.

Grades: Lakeland is on a four-point grading system: A, B, C, D. Other indicators on the grade report may be: Satisfactory (S), Unsatisfactory (U), Fail (F), Fail - Non-attendance (FNA), Incomplete (I), Withdrawal (W), No Grade Reported (N), or Audit (V).

3354:2-47-02 Academic standards.

A student is placed on academic probation when his/her grade point average falls below minimum standards established by the college.

3354:2-47-05 Satisfactory/unsatisfactory (S/U) grade.

Students may choose to take designated courses on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory (S/U) basis. A maximum of ten semester credit hours may be applied toward an associate degree, but only one course per semester may be taken as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.

3354:2-47-16 Credit for prior learning policy.

(A) Certain special credit options are available for work accomplished and skills developed outside of the Lakeland degree program:

(1) Course waiver

(2) Credit by examination

(3) Credit by college level examination

(4) Credit by advanced placement testing

(5) Credit by certification

(6) Credit by experience evaluation

(B) When in-house evaluation or examination is involved, a fee may be charged.

3354:2-47-17 Catalog in force.

A student's academic requirements are based upon the catalog which is in force during the student's first semester at Lakeland community college. A student has the option of choosing the current catalog as the catalog in force. Exceptions are listed in the college catalog.
