3701:1-48-02 Purpose and scope.

This chapter prescribes requirements for the issuance of licenses for the use of sealed sources containing byproduct material or NARM and radiation safety requirements for persons using these sealed sources in industrial radiography. The provisions and requirements of this chapter are in addition to, and not in substitution for, other requirements of Chapter 3748. of the Revised Code and rules promulgated thereunder. This chapter does not apply to medical uses of byproduct material or NARM.
