(A) Cryptosporidium. Systems shall have Cryptosporidium samples analyzed by a laboratory that is approved under "U.S. EPA's Laboratory Quality Assurance Evaluation Program for Analysis of Cryptosporidium in Water" or a laboratory that has been certified for Cryptosporidium analysis by the Ohio environmental protection agency laboratory certification program.
(B) E. coli. Any laboratory certified by the "U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC)" for total coliform or fecal coliform analysis in accordance with 40 C.F.R. 141.74, is approved for E. coli analysis under this rule when the laboratory uses the same technique for E. coli that the laboratory uses for 40 C.F.R. 141.74 provided that the laboratory obtains acceptable results on a source water proficiency test sample.
(C) Turbidity. Measurements of turbidity shall be made in accordance with paragraph (C)(3) of rule 3745-81-27 of the Administrative Code.
