Rule 3769-2-27 | License required.

 

(A) Persons participating or attempting to participate in racing, or any other person employed or working in any other capacity on the race track premises, without first applying for a license, will be denied admission to the premises, and their failure to apply can be considered grounds for denial of such license if subsequently applied for.

(B) Any licensee who employs any unlicensed person in any capacity may be suspended by the judges and may be fined not more than one thousand dollars.

(C) The commission may fine any permit holder which employs any unlicensed person in any capacity an amount not in excess of the maximum permitted by law.

(D) Persons participating or attempting to participate in racing after having been denied a license to participate, may be ruled off by the commission.

(E) Paragraph (A) of this rule does not apply to sworn law enforcement officers with arrest powers or members of the working press or media assigned to cover events at the racetrack.

(F) Any licensee who signs in a guest or "special permission" person who is not licensed will be held accountable for the actions of their guest(s).
