In estimating the net value of a race to the winner, all sums contributed by its owner or nominator shall be deducted from the amount it won. In estimating the value of a series of races in which an extra sum of money is won by winning two or more races, the extra sum shall be estimated in the last race by which it was finally won. Foreign winnings shall be estimated on the basis of the normal rate of exchange on the day of the winning.
