Rule 4141-27-10 | Timeliness of appeals.

 

(A) An appeal filed pursuant to section 4141.281 of the Revised Code is considered timely filed if it is filed within twenty-one calendar days of the date the director's notice of determination or redetermination is sent to the interested party's last known post office address. The director's notice may also be provided to the interested party by electronic means, if he/she voluntarily elects to receive notifications via electronic correspondence.

(B) In determining whether an appeal filed pursuant to section 4141.281 of the Revised Code was filed timely, the director and the unemployment compensation review commission shall take administrative notice of and accept the "date issued" appearing on the notice of determination or redetermination as sufficient evidence to establish the date on which the determination or redetermination was sent.
