Chapter 4501:2-5 Uniforms

4501:2-5-01 Distinctive uniform of Ohio state highway patrol.

(A) Pursuant to section 4549.15 of the Revised Code, the distinctive uniform of the state highway patrol shall be as follows:

(1) Hat …. campaign style, color graphite grey;

(2) Shirt …. grey;

(3) Tie …. black;

(4) Trousers …. dark grey with black stripes;

(5) Shoes …. black leather corafam, or black leather military-style boot;

(6) Blouse …. black;

(7) Uniform duty jacket …. black, waist-length;

(8) Shoulder insignia …. state highway patrol insignia shall be worn on each shoulder of all uniform garments;

(9) Badge …. state highway patrol badge worn on left breast.

(B) Photographs and detailed manufacturing specifications for each garment are on file at Ohio state highway patrol, general headquarters, Columbus, Ohio.
