4723-3-02 Definition of mental or physical impairment or disability.

For purposes of division (G) of section 4723.28 of the Revised Code, division (B)(11) of section 4723.28 of the Revised Code, paragraph (B)(11) of rule 4723-27-09 of the Administrative Code, and rule 4723-26-11 of the Administrative Code, the following definitions apply:

(A) “Mental impairment” and “mental disability” include, but are not limited to, mental disorder.

(B) “Impaired” and “impairment” includes inability to practice according to acceptable and prevailing standards of safe nursing care without appropriate treatment, monitoring, or supervision.
