(A) Secondary education. Prior to matriculating in a doctor of chiropractic degree program, an applicant for licensure shall have completed one of the following:
(1) A high school diploma from a high school recognized by the highest education official of a state or accredited by a regional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. department of education;
(2) A graduate equivalency diploma (G.E.D.) recognized by the highest education official of a state;
(3) For foreign educated applicants, the equivalent of either of the above, as determined by the board.
(B) Pre-chiropractic collegiate education. Prior to matriculating in a doctor of chiropractic degree program, an applicant for licensure shall have completed one of the following:
(1) An associate, bachelor, masters, or doctorate degree which includes the requisite courses and hours as required by the chiropractic educational institution at the time of matriculation.
(2) Two years of full-time study consisting of sixty semester or ninety quarter hours at a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the secretary of the U.S. department of education or such hours from an institution otherwise recognized by the board, with the credit consisting of the requisite courses and hours as required by the chiropractic educational institution at the time of matriculation.
(3) For foreign educated applicants, the equivalent of any of the above, as determined by the board.
(C) Applicants who graduate from a chiropractic educational institution on or after June 30, 2010 possess a bachelor, masters, or doctorate degree from an institution accredited by a national accrediting agency recognized by the secretary of the United States department of education. Foreign educated applicants must meet the appropriate equivalent.
