Rule 5101:11-3-04 | De-registration of programs.

 

(A) Program registration may be discontinued in one of two ways:

(1) Request of sponsor. The council office may cancel the registration of an apprenticeship program at the sponsor's request, and in that event will issue the sponsor a written notice declaring the cancellation and stating the effective date thereof.

(2) Determination of non-compliance. The council office will cancel the registration of a program when so required by compliance enforcement procedures under rule 5101:11-8-01 of the Administrative Code, and in keeping with that rule will issue the sponsor a determination of enforcement declaring the cancellation and stating the effective date thereof.

(B) Every declaration under paragraph (A) of this rule, will direct that within fifteen days of its issuance, the respective sponsor is to notify each apprentice currently in the program, if any: that the program's registration is canceled as of the stated effective date, as is the apprentice's registration in the program and his/her coverage by protections and policies that are contingent on the program's registered status; and that the apprentice is invited to contact the council office for information about potential transfer to other registered programs.
