901:1-1-04 CWD positive, exposed, or trace herds.

(A) If an epidemiologic investigation reveals that a monitored captive deer, captive deer with status, or captive deer with certified chronic wasting disease status herd is chronic wasting disease positive, exposed, or a trace herd, the herd shall be immediately quarantined.

(B) Positive, exposed or trace herds require the completion of a herd plan before the chief, animal health division, may release the quarantine.
