901:11-1-07 In-line samplers on dairy farms.

(A) A milk producer may use an approved in-line sampler for the purposes of collecting the official regulatory producer raw milk sample upon approval of a properly submitted application to install a milking system and approval of a properly submitted application to install an in-line sampler. In addition, the milk producer must comply with and post the standard operating procedures (SOP’s) provided by the director for the in-line sampler used on the dairy farm.

(B) The use of an in-line sampler for the purpose of collecting the official regulatory producer raw milk sample is limited to dairy farms that direct fill milk tank trucks (by-passing the farm bulk milk tank or silos).
