Testing for type evaluation for a certificate of conformance will be done at the following rates:
(A) Technician time...........................$ 110.00 /man-hour
(B) Travel expenses
(1) Motels - Actual cost not to exceed the rates set by the U.S. General Services Administration, plus tax.
(2) Meals - Actual cost not to exceed the rates set by the U.S. General Services Administration, plus tax.
(C) Equipment rental (by state)..............at cost to state
(D) State owned equipment - use and mileage costs:
(1) Car...........................................$ 00.45/mile
(2) Pickup truck..................................$ 00.75 /mile
(3) Van...........................................$ 00.75 /mile
(4) Small capacity scale test truck....................$ 200.00 /day plus $ 1.50 /mile
(5) Scale test truck with 30,000 lb.capacity and over ............. $ 300.00 /day plus $ 2.00 /mile
(6) Environmental tests
(a) Environmental chamber (NTEP/Canadian test only)
(i) $ 400.00 /device/complete cycle
(ii) $ 200.00 /device/half cycle
(b) R76 or R76 and NTEP
(i) $ 750.00 /device/complete cycle
(ii) $ 325.00 /device/half cycle
(c) Electrostatic discharge...........................$ 300.00 /device
(d) Transient burst tests................................$ 200.00 /device
(e) Short time power reduction tests............$ 200.00 /device
(f) RFI/EMI immunity testing in laboratory.............$ 100.00 /device
(g) RFI/EMI immunity testing by outside contractor..........at cost to lab
