The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Updates may be slower during some times of the year, depending on the volume of enacted legislation.

Section 124.07 | Director of administrative services employees, services and facilities.

 

(A) The director of administrative services shall appoint examiners, inspectors, clerks, and other assistants as necessary to carry out sections 124.01 to 124.64 of the Revised Code.

(B) Each state agency shall pay the cost of the services and facilities furnished to it by the department of administrative services that are necessary to provide and maintain payroll services as prescribed in section 125.21 of the Revised Code and state merit standards as prescribed in sections 124.01 to 124.64 of the Revised Code for the agency. The charges against a state agency shall be computed on a reasonable cost basis in accordance with procedures prescribed by the director of budget and management. Any moneys the department receives from a state agency under this division that are in excess of the amount necessary to pay the cost of furnishing the department's services and facilities during any fiscal year shall be either refunded to or credited for the ensuing fiscal year to the state agency.

(C) All moneys received by the department as reimbursement for a merit program or other human resources services performed and facilities furnished under this section, such as competitive examinations administered, shall be paid into the state treasury to the credit of the human resources services fund, which is hereby created.
