1547.51 Division of watercraft - duties.

There is hereby created within the department of natural resources the division of watercraft. The division shall administer and enforce all laws relative to the identification, numbering, registration, titling, use, and operation of vessels operated on the waters in this state and, with the approval of the director of natural resources, educate and inform the citizens of the state about, and promote, conservation, navigation, safety practices, and the benefits of recreational boating.
