3345.62 Contract for report containing analysis and recommendations on energy conservation measures.

The board of trustees of a state institution of higher education may contract with an energy services company, architect, professional engineer, contractor, or other person experienced in the design and implementation of energy conservation measures for a report containing an analysis and recommendations pertaining to the implementation of energy conservation measures that would significantly reduce energy consumption and operating costs in buildings owned by the institution. The report shall include estimates of all costs of such installations, including the costs of design, engineering, installation, maintenance, repairs, and debt service, and estimates of the amounts by which energy consumption and operating costs would be reduced.
