3721.56 Home and community-based services for aged fund - nursing facility stabilization fund.

There is hereby created in the state treasury the home- and community-based services for the aged fund. Sixteen per cent of all payments and penalties paid by nursing homes and hospitals under sections 3721.53 and 3721.54 of the Revised Code shall be deposited into the fund. The departments of job and family services and aging shall use the moneys in the fund to fund the following in accordance with rules adopted under section 3721.58 of the Revised Code:

(A) The medicaid program established under Chapter 5111. of the Revised Code, including the PASSPORT program established under section 173.40 of the Revised Code;

(B) The residential state supplement program established under section 173.35 of the Revised Code.
