The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Updates may be slower during some times of the year, depending on the volume of enacted legislation.

Section 4703.07 | License qualifications.

 

Unless certified and registered pursuant to rules adopted under section 4703.08 of the Revised Code, an applicant for a certificate of qualification to practice architecture shall:

(A) Be at least eighteen years of age;

(B) Submit satisfactory evidence of having obtained a professional degree in architecture from a school having a program accredited by the national accrediting board recognized by the architects board or other equivalent architectural education as is recognized by the architects board;

(C) Complete the requirements for training under an internship program established or adopted by the architects board, including, but not limited to, design and construction documents, construction administration and office management, or equivalent experience acceptable to the board;

(D) Pass an examination as prescribed by the board.
