The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Updates may be slower during some times of the year, depending on the volume of enacted legislation.

Section 4725.34 | Fees.

 

(A) The state vision professionals board shall charge the following nonrefundable fees:

(1) Three hundred fifty dollars for application for a certificate of licensure to practice optometry;

(2) Three hundred fifty dollars for renewal of a certificate of licensure to practice optometry;

(3) One hundred twenty-five dollars for late completion or submission, or both, of continuing optometric education;

(4) One hundred twenty-five dollars for late renewal of a certificate of licensure that has expired;

(5) Additional fees to cover administrative costs incurred by the board, including fees for replacing licenses issued by the board and providing rosters of currently licensed optometrists. Such fees shall be established at a regular meeting of the board and shall comply with any applicable guidelines or policies set by the department of administrative services or the office of budget and management.

(B) The board, subject to the approval of the controlling board, may establish fees in excess of the amounts specified in division (A) of this section if the fees do not exceed the amounts specified by more than fifty per cent.

(C) All receipts of the board, from any source, shall be deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the occupational licensing and regulatory fund created in section 4743.05 of the Revised Code.
