Rule 1501:20-3-01 | Lands upon which snowmobile, all-purpose vehicles are prohibited: exceptions.
 

No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle upon or over any land controlled by the State of Ohio, except upon those lands where the Department has established special areas, roads, or trails designated for such operation and so directed by signs posted for public notice. Such special areas may be designated for limited use of only snowmobiles or only all-purpose vehicles or may be designated for both uses.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile on any Department designated area, road, or trail unless the subsurface soil of said area, road, or trail has been determined by the Department to be solidly frozen and completely covered with snow or ice. Said areas, roads, or trails shall thereafter be posted by custodial personnel as open or closed in accordance with existing weather conditions.
