Rule 1501:20-7-01 \| Hours of operation: exceptions. Effective: February 28, 1974 Promulgated Under: Ch 119. PDF: Download Authenticated PDF No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle on land and waters controlled by the State at anytime between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., except; that all-purpose vehicles conforming with all requirements of Chapters 1548 of the Revised Code governing watercraft are exempt from this rule and may operate upon open waters of lakes in accordance with rules governing thereon. Rule 1501:20-7-04 \| Alcohol, drugs, prohibited. Effective: February 28, 1974 Promulgated Under: Ch 119. Rule 1501:20-7-05 \| Firearms restricted. Effective: February 28, 1974 Promulgated Under: Ch 119. PDF: Download Authenticated PDF No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle on any special area, road, or trail designated by the Department of Natural Resources for use by snowmobiles or all-purpose vehicles while transporting any firearm, bow, or other implement for hunting, that is not unloaded and securely encased. This rule shall not apply to enforcement officers that have been authorized to go armed in the discharge of their duties.
