Rule 1501:20-7-01 | Hours of operation: exceptions.
 

No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle on land and waters controlled by the State at anytime between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., except; that all-purpose vehicles conforming with all requirements of Chapters 1548 of the Revised Code governing watercraft are exempt from this rule and may operate upon open waters of lakes in accordance with rules governing thereon.

Rule 1501:20-7-02 | Removal of signs.
 

No person shall deface, knock down, or remove any sign or poster, or any barrier across a road or trail, that has been installed or erected by the Department or its agent to designate a special area, road, or trail for snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle operation.

No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle in such a manner as to willfully damage or destroy living vegetation and trails on lands and waters controlled by the State and designated by the Department.

Rule 1501:20-7-04 | Alcohol, drugs, prohibited.
 

No person who is under the influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs, opiates, or drugs of abuse shall operate any snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle being operated on land or waters controlled by the State and designated by the Department.

Rule 1501:20-7-05 | Firearms restricted.
 

No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-purpose vehicle on any special area, road, or trail designated by the Department of Natural Resources for use by snowmobiles or all-purpose vehicles while transporting any firearm, bow, or other implement for hunting, that is not unloaded and securely encased. This rule shall not apply to enforcement officers that have been authorized to go armed in the discharge of their duties.

Rule 1501:20-7-06 | Motor vehicles prohibited.
 

It shall be unlawful to operate a passenger car, truck, bus or any other four wheel drive vehicle, unless otherwise designated, on land or waters controlled by the State and designated by the Department for use by snowmobiles or all-purpose vehicles.
