There shall be a university of Cincinnati athletic committee which shall report to the president of the university. The purpose of the athletic committee shall be to review policies and to provide the president of the university with advice and recommendations about intercollegiate and intramural athletics. The athletic committee shall be established in accordance with applicable rules and regulations of the "National Collegiate Athletic Association," "Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women" and any other associations with which the university agrees to affiliate. The athletic committee shall adopt bylaws which shall be subject to approval by the president of the university.
