Rule 3357:15-19-04 | Student records.
According to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) student education records, as used in this policy, includes all official records (in handwriting, print, tapes, film, or other media), directly related to a student at Stark state college. School officials with a legitimate educational interest may access student education records within the scope of performing their job duties. Records not included in this policy are as follows: (A) personal records maintained by a faculty/staff member to remember a particular situation; (B) employment records provided they are used only for hiring purposes; (C) records maintained by campus security; and, (D) alumni records that pertain to the student as a person versus an active student.
