Rule 4717-14-02 | Scope.
This chapter shall apply to any preneed funeral contract sold by any licensee on or after September 29, 2017, except for a preneed funeral contract that is funded by the assignment of an existing life insurance policy. For purposes of this chapter, an "existing life insurance policy" shall mean a life insurance policy that was not purchased for the purpose of funding funeral or final disposition expenses and which has been in existence for at least six months prior to its assignment to fund the preneed funeral contract.
