Rule 5120:1-8-11 | Recreation and programming.

 

The jail shall comply with the following recreation and programming standards:

(A) (Important) Exercise and/or equipment for inmates will be provided and the jail shall ensure that inmates are offered at least five hours per week.

(B) (Important) The jail will provide for inmate television viewing and table games.

(C) (Important) The jail will provide inmate access to reading materials.

(D) (Important) The jail will provide the opportunity for alcohol and drug abuse treatment, academic training, psychological and social services and other community services. When both males and females are housed in the same facility, available services and programs are equivalent.

(E) (Important) Inmates will be permitted to practice a recognized religion subject to limitations necessary to maintain security and order.
