Section 4713.24 | Examinations.
The state board of cosmetology shall conduct an examination for each person who satisfies the requirements established by section 4713.20 of the Revised Code for admission to the examination. The examination shall be specific to the type of license the person seeks and satisfy all of the following conditions:
(A) Include both practical demonstrations and written or oral tests related to the type of license the person seeks;
(B) Relate only to a branch of cosmetology, managing license, or both, but not be confined to any special system or method;
(C) Be consistent in both practical and technical requirements for the type of license the person seeks;
(D) Be of sufficient thoroughness to satisfy the board as to the person's skill in and knowledge of the branch of cosmetology, managing license, or both, for which the examination is conducted.
