Rule 1501:47-7-01 | Exception to rules.
The rules contained within Chapter 1501:47-7 of the Administrative Code are applicable to waters of this state that are managed by a political subdivision, federal agency, or other governing body in accordance with the provisions of section 1547.61 of the Revised Code. However, nothing herein shall be interpreted or construed in such a manner as to prevent or delay authorized personnel of the department of natural resources, a local fire department, emergency medical service, or law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction in the completion of necessary duties or while on patrol or emergency service. The division's interest in enforcing these rules pertain to the operation or other use of vessels and motors on waters of this state.
