Rule 3745-52-216 | Non-laboratory hazardous waste generated at an eligible academic entity.
An eligible academic entity that generates hazardous waste outside of a laboratory is not eligible to manage that hazardous waste in accordance with rules 3745-52-200 to 3745-52-216 of the Administrative Code, and one of the following applies:
(A) Such eligible academic entity remains subject to the generator requirements of rules 3745-52-11 and 3745-52-15 of the Administrative Code for large quantity generators and small quantity generators (if the hazardous waste is managed in a satellite accumulation area), and all other applicable generator requirements of Chapter 3745-52 of the Administrative Code with respect to that hazardous waste.
(B) Such eligible academic entity remains subject to the conditional exemption of rule 3745-52-14 of the Administrative Code for very small quantity generators, with respect to that hazardous waste.
