Rule 3796:5-6-04 | Variances.
The director may grant variances from rules promulgated in accordance with Chapter 3796. of the Revised Code in cases in which:
(A) Granting the variance is in the public interest;
(B) The applicable provision is not statutorily mandated; and
(C) The rule from which the variance is granted would, in the particular case, be unreasonable or unnecessarily burdensome.
