Rule 4501:1-3-03 | Sign required to identify place of business.

 

No applicant shall be issued a license unless there is signage for which the license is sought. Each applicant shall provide evidence of suitable signage that meets the following requirements:

(A) The sign displays the business or trade name, as registered with the secretary of state, in which the application is made;

(B) The sign is permanent, properly maintained, and prominently displayed in a conspicuous place in public view for the entire period for which the license is held by the entrance of the office, if the sign is not visible from the public roadway;

(C) The sign's letters identifying the business name are no less than six inches high, unless otherwise approved by the registrar.
