Rule 4765-5-03 | General provisions.
(A) The division may recommend approval of grant awards subject to the availability of funds in the trauma and emergency medical services fund created in section 4513.263 of the Revised Code and subject to the conditions listed in this chapter.
(B) Subject to paragraph (A) of this rule, grant proposals may be solicited annually by the division through such means of public notice as it deems appropriate.
(C) Except as provided in section 4765.07 of the Revised Code, the division may establish priorities in the types of grant projects eligible for funding.
(D) The division may, on an annual basis, determine the portion of grant funds that will be allocated for one or more of the priorities listed in section 4765.07 of the Revised Code.
(E) The division may establish conditions for approval of a grant application as it deems necessary or appropriate.
(F) Except as otherwise provided in law or regulation, the division may approve or deny any, all, or a portion of a grant application.
(G) In reviewing and recommending approval of grant awards in accordance with section 4765.07 of the Revised Code and this chapter, the division shall not discriminate among applicants on the basis of age, race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin.
