Section 742.62 | Ohio public safety officers death benefit fund.

...fund. The board of trustees of the Ohio police and fire pension fund shall be the trustees of the Ohio public safety officers death benefit fund. The board shall have the same powers as provided in section 742.10 of the Revised Code in administering the Ohio public safety officers death benefit fund.
Section 742.64 | Recovering erroneous payments.

...aid any benefit or payment by the Ohio police and fire pension fund to which the person is not entitled, the person shall repay the fund. If the person fails to repay, the fund shall withhold the amount due from any benefit or payment due the person or the person's beneficiary under this chapter or may collect the amount in any other manner provided by law.
Section 742.99 | Penalty.

...(A) Whoever violates section 742.043 of the Revised Code shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars for each day of the violation. (B) Whoever violates division (B) of section 742.043 of the Revised Code shall be imprisoned for not more than six months or fined not more than five thousand dollars, or both.
