Section 101.54 | Journals of general assembly.

The clerk of the senate and the clerk of the house of representatives shall keep a daily journal of the proceedings of the clerk's house of the general assembly, which shall be read and corrected in the clerk's presence. After the reading, correction, and approval of the journal, it shall be attested by the clerk and recorded. The recorded journals shall be deposited with the Ohio historical society and be the true journals. The original daily journal, as kept, corrected, approved, and attested, shall be used by the clerk to print the journals.
