Section 303.09 | Changes in text or maps - second public hearing.
No change in or departure from the text or maps as certified by the county rural zoning commission, shall be made by the board of county commissioners unless it is first resubmitted to the county rural zoning commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions. Upon receipt of the recommendations of the county rural zoning commission regarding the proposed changes, the board of county commissioners shall hold a second public hearing, at least ten days notice of the time and place of which shall be given by one publication using at least one of the following methods:
(A) In the print or digital edition of one or more newspapers of general circulation in the townships affected;
(B) On the official public notice web site established under section 125.182 of the Revised Code;
(C) On the web site and social media account of the county.
If such changes are disapproved by the zoning commission, the provision so disapproved must receive the favorable vote of the entire membership of the board of county commissioners in order to be adopted.
