The department of education and workforce shall do both of the following:

(A) Develop a professional development course that focuses on foundational knowledge in mathematics and integrates life skills;

(B) Not later than December 31, 2026, develop a pilot series of professional development programs for school and regional educational leaders on evidence-based mathematics instruction.
