The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Updates may be slower during some times of the year, depending on the volume of enacted legislation.

Section 101.85 | Schedule for review of agencies.

(A) A sunset review committee, not later than sixty days after its first meeting, shall schedule for review each agency in existence on the first day of January in the year of the first regular session of the general assembly. The committee, by a unanimous vote, also may schedule for review any state board or commission described in division (A)(9) of section 101.82 of the Revised Code that is in existence on that date, and any board or commission so scheduled shall be considered an agency for purposes of sections 101.82 to 101.87 of the Revised Code.

(B) The chairperson of the committee shall send a copy of the schedule for review of agencies for each regular session of the general assembly to each of the agencies scheduled for review during that session and to the director of the legislative service commission. The director shall publish a copy of the schedule in the Administrative Code and in the register of Ohio. The commission shall provide the committee with a list of agencies, and with a list of state boards and commissions described in division (A)(9) of section 101.82 of the Revised Code, in existence on the first day of January in the year of the first regular session of the general assembly, to assist the committee in identifying agencies and in exercising its duties under sections 101.82 to 101.87 of the Revised Code with respect to those agencies.
