House Bill 455 - 136th General Assembly
The department of education and workforce shall adopt rules freeing school districts from specified state mandates if the school district received an overall performance rating of five stars under section 3302.03 of the Revised Code.
Any mandates included in the rules shall be only those statutes or rules pertaining to state education requirements. The rules shall not exempt districts from any operating standard adopted under division (D)(3) of section 3301.07 of the Revised Code.
