The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Updates may be slower during some times of the year, depending on the volume of enacted legislation.

Section 4759.99 | Penalty.

 

Whoever violates section 4759.02 of the Revised Code is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If the offender has been previously convicted once of a violation of the section, then the violation is a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If the offender has been previously convicted more than once of a violation of the section, then the violation is a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Whoever violates division (B)(1) or (2) of section 4759.14 of the Revised Code is guilty of failure to report criminal conduct or sexual misconduct, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If the offender has previously been convicted of a violation of this division, the failure to report is a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Whoever violates division (B) of section 4759.05 of the Revised Code is guilty of disclosing confidential investigatory information, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
