In administering and enforcing sections 4731.51 to 4731.61 of the Revised Code and in adopting rules under section 4731.05 of the Revised Code, the state medical board shall not prohibit a podiatrist who practices other than in a hospital or college of podiatric medicine and surgery as described in section 4731.51 of the Revised Code from collaborating with a certified registered nurse anesthetist.

For purposes of this section, "certified registered nurse anesthetist" and "collaborating" have the same meanings as in section 4723.01 of the Revised Code.
