Rule 4901:1-44-02 | Purpose and scope.
(A) The rules in this chapter:
(1) Apply to the administration of the PIPP rider.
(2) Are intended to:
(a) Implement sections 4928.54, 4928.541, and 4928.542 of the Revised Code.
(b) Ensure a fair and unbiased auction process for the procurement of generation service for PIPP plus program customers and the performance of the winning bidder or bidders pursuant to section 4928.543 of the Revised Code.
(B) The commission may, upon an application or a motion filed by a party, waive any requirement of this chapter, other than a requirement mandated by statute, for good cause shown.
