Chapter 4731-38 | Alternate Licensure Pathways

 
 
 
Rule
Rule 4731-38-01 | Licenses issued or renewed under the interstate medical licensure compact.
 

(A) "IMLC" means the interstate medical licensure compact

(B) "IMLCC" means the interstate medical licensure compact commission

(C) An individual applying for a license through the IMLC, shall pay directly to the IMLCC the application fee in the amount described in section 4731.09 of the Revised Code, and any additional fees required by the IMLCC.

(D) A license issued by the board through the IMLC shall be valid for two years, unless suspended or revoked.

(E) An individual renewing a license issued through the IMLC shall pay directly to the IMLCC the biennial renewal fee, reinstatement fee, or restoration fee, as applicable, in the amount described in section 4731.281 of the Revised Code , and any additional fees required by the IMLCC.

(F) An individual renewing a license issued through the IMLC shall provide to the board, in the manner determined by the board, the information described in section 4731.281 of the Revised Code.

Rule 4731-38-02 | Issuance of Licenses to out-of-state licensees or certificate holders.
 

An individual applying for licensure under Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code shall pay the following application fees:

(A) For a physician assistant, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4730.10 of the Revised Code;

(B) For a physician or osteopathic physician, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4731.09 of the Revised Code;

(C) For a massage therapist, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4731.19 of the Revised Code;

(D) For a podiatrist, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4731.52 of the Revised Code;

(E) For a dietitian, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4759.08 of the Revised Code;

(F) For a dietitian limited permit holder, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4759.08 of the Revised Code;

(G) For an anesthesiologist assistant, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4760.03 of the Revised Code;

(H) For a respiratory care professional, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4761.07 of the Revised Code;

(I) For a respiratory care professional limited permit holder, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4761.07 of the Revised Code;

(J) For an acupuncturist, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4762.03 of the Revised Code;

(K) For a radiologist assistant, the fee for initial application in the amount described in rule 4774-1-02 of the Administrative Code;

(L) For a genetic counselor, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4778.03 of the Revised Code;

(M) For a genetic counselor supervised practice license, the fee for initial application in the amount described in section 4778.03 of the Revised Code.
